With proper care and maintenance, our extensions are completely non-damaging. Our #1 priority at Meraki Salon & Extensions is the health of your hair and scalp. We put in A TON of hours getting certified in only the best methods of hair extensions. We thoroughly educate our clients on how to properly brush and take care of their extensions before they leave our salon.

Will Hair Extensions damage my own hair?​

Consultations are a half hour appointment where we will discuss your hair goals. 
(what length and/or thickness you’re looking to add.) We will give you an exact 
price based on what is discussed. If you choose to pursue getting hair extensions,
we will match up your hair to be ordered and the client is required to pay for the hair in full in order to hold your date/time of “THE BIG DAY!” A minimal amount of paperwork will be gone over as well.

How do I book an appointment?

What kind of hair does Meraki Salon & Extensions use? 

Meraki Salon And Extensions requires a 48 hour notice if you can not make your appointment.

If you cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the scheduled service.

If we did not take your fee upon booking, you will be required to pay the 50% fee in order to book any future appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?

Invisible Bead extensions are the safest, most requested hair extension method on the market. With IBE the only extensions you can use are hand-tied wefts. This is because the seams are very thin creating a comfortable, light-weight, feel & look for the client. The wefts are sewn into very small beads which are sandwiched in between the wefts to create a seamless/virtually beadless end result.

What are Invisible Bead Extensions?

How long do they last?

Are they damaging?

With proper care & maintenance the hair can last up to last up to 1 year. 

Invisible Bead Extensions are not damaging as long as they are done by a certified stylist & properly maintained- Invisible Bead Extensions are extremely safe for the hair & scalp.

Do IBE require maintenance?

Yes, with IBE maintenance is required. Roughly every 8 weeks, you will need a re-install. We don’t “move up” IBE. We completely take them out & re-install them to ensure no damage over time.

2 row re-install=$400-$600 
(Pricing depends on the stylists years experience & certification level.)

Proper brushing of the extensions is also required. Your stylist will thoroughly explain how to properly brush hand-tied extensions during your first install.

Can I still color my hair?

Yes, you can still color your hair as normal while wearing Invisible Bead Extensions. The extensions can be colored up to two shades darker but cannot be lightened.

How do I start my Hair Extensions journey?

To book an appointment for your first hair extension install you will need to first fill out our Appointment Request Form and then schedule a consultation. 

At your consultation, your stylist will decide whether or not you are a good candidate for hair extensions. Exact pricing will be given at the time of the consultation depending on your desired length and/or thickness. 

In order to reserve a spot for your first hair extension install, we will need you to purchase the hair at the consultation. Most of the hair is stocked at Meraki salon in both 18 and 22 inches so you don’t have to worry about hair being out of stock. Once the hair is purchased the hair is taken out of our inventory with your name on it…ready for the big day!

On the day of the application you can expect it to take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours based on how many rows you are having installed & your stylists pace. All that is due on the installation day is the “labor charge” since you already purchased the hair.

We will send you home with proper shampoo, conditioner, and tools to protect your investment and properly maintain your extensions. We will answer any of your questions as well as send you home with a “Home Care Guide.”
